Confortel Auditori Barcelona is a 3-star comparatively cheap hotel in Barcelona which was opened a couple of years ago. I know from my own experience that getting a decent, yet cheap or, at least, affordable hotel in Barcelona within walking distance to the city center is quite difficult but I would definitely recommend this one. I booked this hotel after reading some reviews about Confortel Auditori Barcelona, most of which were positive and complimentary. I was not disappointed at all and found Confortel Auditori Barcelona clean and comfortable, equipped with excellent modern ameneties and business facilities.
A young man at the reception desk was very pleasant and check in was very quick and efficient. Checking-in usually takes less time if hotel room is booked in advance. I had requested a room on the higher level and got one on the third floor. My room turned out to be modern and very clean, with good-size bathroom equipped with the usual array of bubble baths, soaps and shampoos. Other in-room facilities included air conditioning, direct dial telephone, electronic safe, Wi-Fi Internet access, satellite TV, hairdryer and heating. Free mini bar was a great idea: 2 cokes, 2 fruit juices, 2 still and 2 fizzy waters and 2 beers; I found it a good place to store extra snacks.
There was no noise at all from other guests, that was very important for my as I am a light sleeper.
As for meal plan, breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate and cost somewhat around EUR 14.00. Basic choice of food was offered, but the service was excellent.
Barcelona Confortel Auditori offers reasonable prices for a city stay; I liked it very much and would definitely recommend it.

Let me go on with my own overview of accommodation options in Barcelona.
Like in any other big tourist destination, Barcelona hotels in the downtown area are much more expensive in comparison with uptown Barcelona hotels of the same range. Why not consider staying in one of those pleasant Barcelona hotels in the outskirts of Barcelona if on a budget? You can use taxi service to get to the city sights; you should know that taxi services in Barcelona are heavily regulated by the city, so you can enjoy clean cars as well as helpful and friendly drivers. In case you don’t want to waste your money on taxis, use public transport to reach the place you need. Take the Barcelona metro to get around the city efficiently. If you need to return to your Barcelona hotel late at night, consider using the Nitbus bus line, which is very convenient to travel around Barcelona when it gets late
It’s very important to understand the different names used for accommodation in Barcelona to make the best accommodation choice. Guests often don’t see any difference between a cheap Barcelona hostal and Barcelona hostel, but these terms are totally different. A hostal is somewhat similar to a guest house or hotel, while a hostel is actually a youth hostel, the original Spanish name for which is Albergues Juveniles.
Barcelona hostals are very similar to ordinary hotels and more or less resemble guest houses. Hostals in Barcelona can usually offer similar and sometimes even better apartments than some hotels within the same price range. Usually Barcelona hostals are cheaper than a Barcelona hotel offering similar amenities and services.

I am going to make my own overview of accommodation options in Barcelona in today’s post.

Barcelona won’t disappoint party-goers with its fantastic restaurants and quality nightlife, as well as fans of shopping.
But whatever you reasons are, you still need a place to rest you body after a tiring day or night in Barcelona.
