I have received a lot of letters with Barcelona hotel reviews recently, but I had no time to publish them as I was very busy studying. I really apologize and now start publishing your letters. “We decided to spend our vacation in Barcelona this year as both my wife and I are keen on Gaudi’s architecture vastly represented in the city. We planned a 10 day vacation in June. We booked a room for two adults and our 15 year old son in Hotel Principal in Barcelona because we have heard and read some good reviews about this budget Barcelona accommodation. We e-mailed requesting a quiet room with a balcony, which we did receive on our arrival. The room was of decent size. There was a TV set, tea & coffee making facilities, nice big bathroom with some toiletries and hairdryer provided. The beds were more than comfortable with fresh bed-linen. Everything including the furniture looked very new and clean, with very pleasant decor. The room was properly air-conditioned, which is very important if you travel in summertime. Room service was excellent.

Breakfast wasn’t included and cost EUR 9.00 per person. It was ordinary and sometimes we opted to have a light snack outside hotel – there were numerous cafes and restaurants nearby Hotel Principal.

Hotel Principal is a hotel in the center of Barcelona, in easy walking distance of the famous Ramblas, a selection of museums and other places of tourist interest. It was also easy to get to Gaudi’s architectural sights by public transport.

Overall we spent a wonderful time in Barcelona and enjoyed our stay in Hotel Principal.”

Hotel Medium Prisma Barcelona welcomes business guests an offers them a wide range of services in their onsite business centre. Those traveling on business will find all necessary facilities such as internet access, fax, etc. to meet their needs. Nearby attractions included Plaza de Espana and Montjuic, Plaza Cataluna and Ramblas and Camp Nou football stadium. Good public transport links make it easy to reach any part of Barcelona to view most popular places of interest.

Julia has stayed in 2-star Hotel Medium Prisma Barcelona several times. She usually books in advance and never has problems with checking in. As she usually travels alone, Julia prefers staying in a single room, which includes standard room facilities such as a bathroom, heating, air conditioning, a telephone, a TV set, a safety deposit box, a hairdryer and a mini-bar. Nice size room is clean, comfortable and functional. It is a good place to have rest after a day in the office or sightseeing in Barcelona.

Buffet breakfast is not included in the room rate and guests have to pay extra EUR 8.50 per person to enjoy filling and fresh breakfast.

Hotel Medium Prisma in Barcelona is a good cheap Barcelona hotel for budget travelers; you won’t be disappointed if you decide to settle there.

If you are planning to spend a couple of days sightseeing in Barcelona and if you are looking for a budget Barcelona hotel in the center of the city, then do not hesitate to book rooms in Hotel Cortes Barcelona. This budget Barcelona hotel is easily accessible from the local airport via public transport which frequently runs day and night to Plaza Cataluna and Hotel Cortes Barcelona is within a 5-minute walk from this place. The hotel is very easy to find even for those who came here for the first time. The fact that Hotel Cortes Barcelona is located close to the most popular “must-see” places of Barcelona is one more reason for choosing this particular hotel in Barcelona. Shopping fans would also be satisfied by staying in Hotel Cortes Barcelona: the hotel is in the Gothic Quarter on a busy street in between the famous Las Ramblas and Avenida Portal de L?Angel which is one of Barcelona’s main shopping streets. I should warn those traveling for business that Hotel Cortes Barcelona has no business facilities and internet access is not available. By the way the hotel is not a pet friendly one.

The room I got in Hotel Cortes Barcelona was great for the price I paid (room rates in this Barcelona hotel are comparatively cheaper than in most other Barcelona hotels of the same rank). My room faced the street, but it wasn’t noisy at all because of double-glazed windows. My accommodation was equipped with air conditioning, direct dial telephone, desk, safe, colour TV and heating – basic amenities, but everything worked. Breakfast was enough to start your day off and it was included in the room price.

I found Hotel Cortes Barcelona to be relatively cheap and pleasant to spend a couple of days.
